The crash occurred at 1:55 a.m. Thursday, June 2 between Alexander Avenue and Ford Road, Howell police said.
A 30-year-old Lakewood resident was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name had not been released.
The driver of the car was a 53-year-old resident of Deal. The driver was not hurt.
No summonses had been issued.
